Preference will be given to someone who identifies as having an intellectual disability or neurodivergence.
The Consultant will be hired by INSK but will also work closely with Community Living Service Delivery (CLSD) to engage with people with intellectual disabilities to evaluate their experience with receiving support and services. The Consultant will attend interviews alongside a CLSD employee and use a person outcomes measurement tool to capture the individuals experience.
Main Responsibilities:
Attending and conducting interviews with CLSD
Providing a lived experience perspective for work done by INSK and external partners
Take part in presentations, training, and committees with INSK and CLSD
Skills Required for the Role:
An understanding of person-centeredness
Strong communication skills, with or without adaptive support
The ability to prioritize work
The ability to stay organized
Computer skills are an asset but NOT required

Traveling to different communities and working in many different locations and environments; transportation can be provided
Accommodation can be made to meet the applicants needs
This role will be remote from any community in southern SK, with some in person meetings
When working with CLSD, most work will be done in-person
