We work collaboratively with the government and community based organizations to ensure that citizens of Saskatchewan who have intellectual disabilities are valued, supported and included members of society and have opportunities and choices in all aspects of life.

About the Event
Tell It Like It Is is designed for people with intellectual disabilities and covers a variety of topics over 10 weeks of classes. However, sexuality and sexual health are topics that are relevant throughout one's entire life. Parents can play a key role in introducing sexual health, supporting their children while they take TILII, and extending the conversation beyond the classroom.
While parental involvement in sexual health education can be very beneficial, their involvement in the running of TILII can be more complex. Issues to be discussed include parental limitations on child's participation, involvement in the classroom, and support beyond the program.
