We are closely following the sexual assault charges that have been brought against a former staff member of Shepherd’s Villa between 1992 and 2009. Sexual violence is something that affects all of us, including those with intellectual disabilities. As many as 1 in 3 adults with an intellectual disability suffers sexual abuse in adulthood. Inclusion Saskatchewan stands with all survivors in our mission to ensure that all individuals are valued, supported, and included in all aspects of life.
