NORTHERN PARTNERSHIPS FOR INCLUSION
There is a lack of access to necessary services and supports in Northern Saskatchewan for people with intellectual disabilities. Through the Northern Partnerships for Inclusion, Inclusion Saskatchewan is focusing attention on building the case for the creation of services for people with intellectual disabilities in northern Saskatchewan.
Northern Partnerships for Inclusion is a network of strategic partnerships with governments, communities, individuals, and community based organizations. Together, we're currently conducting research in these northern communities so we can figure out the extent of need in these communities. Our work is also focused on assisting people to qualify for and access services, building community capacity, and helping people transition into employment.
